Nature’s Looking Glass

Gene is a San Francisco native with a prior career  in healthcare, as a Registered Dietitian, and as a Financial Advisor for families of Special Needs Children.  However, she has always had a strong creative side and thoroughly enjoys the outdoors.  Outdoor photography has been an interest since childhood, but she did not have the opportunity to pursue this until 2004 when she received her first digital camera as a Christmas gift.

Since then her discoveries have given her a new passion to explore the great wonders of the colors and life that nature provides us.

She does take advantage of the many locations for photographic opportunities that daily surround her in the San Francisco Bay Area, but also travels, whenever possible, to other locations to explore the endless beauty provided to capture in her images.

Through the photographs and gift items Gene has to offer, she wants to share what she sees through her “Looking Glass” with those who have an appreciation for nature, but not always enough time to indulge.  She has enjoyed learning to capture a new perspective of the natural magic that surrounds us and hopes others will find some joy while looking through …Nature’s Looking Glass

In addition to participating at the many local Arts Festivals through the summer, Gene’s work has been viewed at the Blackhawk Gallery in Danville, CA.  She is a member of the Alamo Danville Artist Society, the Livermore Artist Association and the Pleasanton Art League where she participates in many of their Art Shows and Exhibits.
