Since 1977, Sea Shepherd has been on the frontlines of conservation, information and education about saving our oceans and ocean beings. We welcome the opportunity to reach out to your global community about our mission. Our focus is now is on plastic pollution of our oceans and poaching in our oceans. If the Ocean Dies, We Die….
Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystem and species. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations.
The NorCal Chapter of SSCS was formed in 2010, and our chapter covers a wide area ranging from San Rafael to Monterey, and from San Francisco to Chico, Sacramento, Tracy, Stockton and Sonora. Our mission is outreach and education about Ocean Conservation and Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Our mission is also fundraising to support Sea Shepherd campaigns to defend ocean wildlife worldwide.
